Thank you for a great race, really enjoyed it!
I just wanted to share my experience of the Chiltern Chase 15k race yesterday – thank-you for a really awesome event. The route was beautiful and I enjoyed the run – my furthest distance yet and I can’t think of a nicer environment to have set this new record for myself. All the marshalls were so friendly and encouraging, it was the most welcoming race I’ve run. I loved the prize giving at the end where those who’d performed exceptionally were made to feel special by the MC, but also how even the final runner was cheered as she crossed the finish line. it just reminded me that EVERYONE is a runner no matter what your time or distance is, and that this was a race where everyone’s achievements were recognised, whether you were first or last across the finish line. I will definitely be back next year to tackle those juicy hills again.
Thank you so much for all the fabulous organisation and marshal support at the event. It was my first race here, everyone was very helpful and friendly. A huge bonus at the end was the tea and cakes! We will definitely encourage our team to join next year!
Thank you, if not - these things happen but I thought it was worth trying. Fantastic morning- my first Chiltern Chase but I will be doing my very best to be back next year to do the 15k!
This is just a quick 'thank you' to all the organisers and volunteers today. This was my first time at the event and beautiful route and the cheerfulness of the marshalls made it fun and memorable. It was great seeing so many local children involved too - a real community event. I'll be back next year.
Brilliant race. I have run the 15km a number of times now and I just love the atmosphere of this race. Well signposted, well marshalled and a super route through the countryside. Absolutely one of my favourites. Thank you for all the organising and effort – love it
First, let me add to the plaudits of your race feedback: the usual interesting and great course, plenty of marshals, enough portaloos, of course the great cakes, and the cheerful kids presenting the medals and also the prizes. Well done and thanks! I’ve done it four times now – 2010, 2011, 2012 and then this year. The dates have always clashed on other years, so it was great to be back and run it again.
Thank you to all the organisers and the team today. What a great race!
Thank you Chiltern Chase for a super organised event. After watching from afar for many years I was inspired this year to put on my running shoes & join in, I was not disappointed. The registration was seamless & efficient. The views during the run are fabulous, the marshals were supportive & encouraging. Plus some super refreshments too! I will be back next year!
Always a great atmosphere at this race. Very friendly team and extremely well organised. Very scenic and varied course which takes your mind of the pain for a while! We try to make this race every year and hope to do so for many more!

2018 The race was well organised and efficient. Thanks
Ran in this for the first time last weekend. What a great event, I wish I'd found it before now. A mixture of road and trail with beautiful scenery, well manned water stations and super friendly marshalls. The lovely lady in Ewelme with the hosepipe to spray us was particularly welcome. Just one little request for next time please - the cakes looked delicious but could you also have something Gluten Free available. The tea was very welcome but you can't beat a bit of cake when you've just had a good run.
"It was lovely. I loved the course and thought it was very well organised. Sadly I had to dash off at the end to rescue my husband who was looking after our three little children. I came first in the 10km but missed the prize giving. Many thanks again for a lovely race.
A lovely race through a beautiful part of Oxfordshire. Very well organised.
As an avid local amateur runner and coach of White horse Harriers I have to say that Chiltern Chase is one of the best multi-terrain events around, beautiful course, great organisation and superb cake at the end and all for charity! Thanks guys. Thanks so much

Beautiful course as always & super organisation and a lovely friendly atmosphere and all for several good causes!
The easy and efficient entry on the day was the prelude to a well organised community event. The setting was stunning and took your mind away from the tough, but fair course. The combination of courses worked really well and was inclusive and yet competitive at the same time. The support from the well marshalled course was extremely welcome and everybody made to feel a winner. I loved it! I really mean what I have said above and have raved about it to anybody who will listen! I hope to be back next year
This race is fairly local to us which is a bonus and the weather is usually good at that time of year which helps. Scenic route and easy start / finish point. The tea and cake waiting at finish line always goes down an absolute treat. Really well run race with very friendly bunch of people. I see familiar faces year on year which says a lot.

The Chiltern Chase is an extremely important sponsor in our school community, raising in excess of £42,500 in donations to the school’s Parent Teacher Association (FOES) since the first race in 2006. The donations, administered through FOES, have been integral in enabling the school to purchase a wide range of equipment and resources which would have been otherwise beyond its means. The Chiltern Chase attracts more runners and walkers each year and I cannot thank the participants enough for helping Ewelme School to continue to thrive in our small village. Mrs M. Such an enjoyable route through beautiful countryside, well organised and friendly
I have done the 10k a few times now and find it a really varied and interesting course. Mostly off-road, on paths through fields and forest, but the ground is fairly even, so it can be run at any speed. Well organised and friendly. I will definitely run it again.
Just want to pass on my thanks for the superbly organised event this weekend. From the detailed website/pre-race information, clear signs to the car park, helpful marshalls, organised registration desk, ample water and toilet facilities to the beautiful route itself! The route was challenging, especially in the hot conditions, but the marshalls were very encouraging along the way and there was a lovely atmosphere. Many thanks for all who played a part in this event.
This was only my 2nd 10k and it was quite challenging on the hills! But it was well run, lovely marshalls and great scenery.
A couple of inclines that make you think twice but a stunning course with lots of varied terrain (including a short stretch through a pig farm with pigs spectating). Well organised and a good atmosphere with a good mix of running ability. Will be back next year.
My second Chiltern Chase and I’ll be back for a third. Well organised and beautiful run through picturesque Oxfordshire. Two water stations which were welcome and very friendly.
Another great, well organised Chiltern Chase. Thanks to the organisers and marshalls who made sure it ran very smoothly.
Thanks for the usual good race, ..5k measuring was a bit off,...1/4 mile too far. However.....pretty polished race, in an always good location... My clubmates from Marlow Striders always speak well of your race, and long may it continue.
I thoroughly enjoyed the race again- it was very well organized with lots of signs up and friendly marshals.

Thank you for a wonderful event today. It was our first experience ...we throughly enjoyed it. The course was challenging but so picturesque...The race organisation was very efficiently executed and everyone was so friendly. We hope to be back for the race next year. Thank you for a great day.
Thanks for a fantastic 10k. My Husband and I had a great time. The course was beautiful, and everything was so professionally organised.......see you next year....
An interesting and varied course, some country lanes, some farm tracks, a couple of fields and some wooded single-track. Great countryside, with enough hills to break the pace, but nothing to seriously slow you down. Not PB potential, more of a fast, Sunday training run.
